Sheriff Steven McCain is proud to announce that Deputies Tucker Mendenhall and Ryan Allen graduated from the Alexandria Regional Police Academy on November 21, 2019. The police academy consisted of 17 weeks of training that involved firearms, physical fitness, defensive tactics, Louisiana laws and much more.

Deputy Mendenhall won the academic award by having the highest grades in the class. Deputy Allen graduated with only 3/10 of one percent less than Mendenhall’s final grade point average.
