Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest of Pollock Man

Grant Parish Sheriff’s Corporal Zac Daenen noticed a vehicle driving with no license plate that he had encountered the day before for having a license plate that was not registered to that vehicle. When Cpl. Daenen attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated and drove into a tree. The driver ran from the vehicle and threw a glass smoking pipe and methamphetamine in an attempt to hide the drugs.

Michael Reed, Jr., 21 years old, of 181 Crawford Loop, Pollock, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting an Officer, and Obstruction of Justice.
