Request a Security Detail
NOTE: If you are in need of a security detail for an upcoming event and would like to hire a deputy, please call (318) 627-3261 to speak to our Detail Coordinator, Sgt. James Wooten. Please make your request as EARLY as possible for your event, but please note that your request MUST be confirmed with us at least 2 WEEKS before your event.
If you have already submitted your request and have NOT heard back from us, please follow up by phone as soon as possible and at least 2 weeks prior to your event. If you prefer, you may use the form below, but we STRONGLY encourage you to follow up with a phone call and leave a message. We will follow up on every request, but email is not always reliable, and requests must be filled well in advance of your event.
Effective September 1, 2021, the rate for hiring an off-duty Grant Parish Deputy Sheriff will increase.
The rate for an off duty deputy will be $25 per hour, with a four hour minimum.
If alcohol is served or will be allowed to be consumed at the event, the rate will be $30 per hour, with a four hour minimum.
If the event is anticipating greater than 100 people and alcohol is allowed, the number of deputies that will be required to provide security will be at the discretion of the Sheriff or his designee.
