Offender Visitation

For safety and security of the facility, inmate visitations are conducted by a video monitoring system.  Below is the schedule for inmate visitations:

Parish Offenders - Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (11:00 excluded for lunch)

 

DOC Offenders - Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (11:00 excluded for lunch)

ALL VISITS ARE SUBJECT TO BE MONITORED AND/OR RECORDED.

 

VISITATION ROOM GUIDELINES - VIOLATIONS CAN LEAD TO LOSS OF VISITATION PRIVILEGES

NO cell phones are allowed.

No profanity of any kind is permitted. Violators will be asked to leave.

Each monitor is limited to two (2) visitors.

No food or drinks are allowed in the visitation room.

VISITATION RULES AND REGULATIONS

Visiting an offender is an extremely important family function and dress code requirements are necessary to maintain the dignity of those involved.  All visitors will be properly dressed when coming to visit at the facility.  The following dress codes are required:

FEMALE VISITORS

  • Shorts must be worn in good taste and no higher than just above the knees.

  • No low-cut (e.g. V-Neck) shirts or dresses

  • No see through clothing tube tops

  • No tank tops

  • No crop tops

  • No sleeveless or backless clothing

  • No swimsuits, seat suits, or mesh clothing

  • No breakaway pants or any other apparel of a suggestive or revealing nature. (e.g. skin-tight clothing, etc.)

  • If a visitor chooses to wear a dress, the length of the dress will not be shorter than the natural break of the knee.  This requirement includes any type of slit or cut in the dress, whether the slit is on the front or back side.

  • Sun dresses are not permitted.

MALE VISITORS

  • No sleeveless shirts

  • No tank tops

  • No apparel of a suggestive or revealing nature.

  • No hats are to be worn

ALL VISITORS

  • At no time will sunglasses be worn during visit.

  • No cell phones or any other electronic devices to include "smart watches" are allowed in the visiting room.

  • No tobacco products of any kind including "vaping" devices
