A traffic stop by Grant Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Amy Laborde led to the arrest of two Pineville residents for drug charges. When Deputy Laborde stopped the vehicle, it pulled into the parking lot of a business and a back seat passenger, Shonnan Johnson, got out of the vehicle and tried to run into the store.
Shonnan Johnson, 42 years old, of 605 Fendler Parkway, Pineville, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine) with the Intent to Distribute. Melody Barnett, 30 years old, of 24 Alvin Drive, Pineville, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
