Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a reckless driver that was swerving from lane to lane and eventually stopped in the road. When deputies arrived, they found that the driver was slumped over the steering wheel with a burned homemade cigarette in his lap. Deputies also discovered a bag of synthetic marijuana in the driver’s door. The driver admitted to smoking the synthetic marijuana while he was driving.
John Gross, 41 years old, of 4824 Handley Loop, Pineville, was arrested for 2nd offense D.W.I., Possession of Synthetic Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant from Alexandria.
