While patrolling, Grant Parish Deputy Kerri Null and Corporal T.C. Vice located someone walking on Hwy. 71 in the Bagdad community. When they stopped to check to see if he was okay or needed a ride, he ran into the woods, dropping a black case. Inside of the case was an identification card and a food stamp card identifying the person as Donald Cook. Also inside of the case was crystal methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe.
Donald Cook, 28 years old, of 1518 Dupree Road, Tioga, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting an Officer, and 2 counts of Contempt of Court.
