The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of someone threatening to commit suicide. When Deputy Kerri Null and Corporal T.C. Vice arrived, they located the person that was threatening suicide and were able to safely detain her. The deputies discovered a lady that was unconscious with a bag of methamphetamine lying beside her. An ambulance was called because the deputies had trouble getting her awake. They also found another person in the house with a bag of methamphetamine beside him along with a set of brass knuckles.
Myra Seals, 184 Maxwell Road, Colfax, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Michael Marler, 20 years old, of 183 Stuart Lake Road, Dry Prong, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with Drugs.
