An investigation between the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Dry Prong Police Department led to the person responsible for the damage in the Dry Prong Cemetery. Felicia Ruiz, 32 years old, of 3680 Hwy. 167, Dry Prong, was charged with Hit and Run and Reckless Operation of a Vehicle.
“It appears that this was a crash caused from Ruiz not paying attention, running off of the road, hitting the gravestones, and she panicked and left the scene and was scared to report it”, stated Sheriff Steven McCain.
