While Grant Parish Sheriff’s Deputies were investigating an issue in the parking lot of a business, a vehicle drove through the parking lot at a high rate of speed in a reckless manner. When the driver was stopped, deputies immediately noticed the strong smell of marijuana. The driver, Ronald Brown, had marijuana and crystal methamphetamine in his pocket. More marijuana was found inside of the truck that Brown was driving.
Ronald Brown, 63 years old, of 7190 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine), Possession of C.D.S. I (marijuana), and an outstanding warrant.
