Deputies from the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office were at a Pollock home looking for a wanted person. The person that they were searching for was not home, but they found a Pineville man that was asleep with a syringe lying next to him. When the deputies woke the man up and asked him about the syringe, he told them that he also had “about half of a gram in my backpack”. Inside of the backpack was methamphetamine along with digital scales and a bottle of synthetic urine. He was also wanted out of Rapides Parish for outstanding warrants.
Garrett Leger, 29 years old, of 110 Industrial Loop, Pineville, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine), Possession of Synthetic Urine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant from Rapides Parish.
