Abbeville Woman Arrested


Grant Parish Sheriff’s Deputies Robert Jordan and Kacy Bullock were dispatched to what appeared to be a stranded motorist. When the deputies arrived, the driver identified herself as Jamie Colley, but, told the deputies that she did not have a driver’s license and no identification.

When the deputies used the information that the driver provided, the photo that they found on the computer did not match the driver. She admitted that she lied and that her actual name was Bonnie Colley from Abbeville, La. and she had outstanding warrants for her arrest.

The deputies discovered marijuana and Diazepam. She was transported to the detention center and once at the detention center, Deputy Bullock discovered a hole in the lining of the jacket with more crystal methamphetamine hidden.

Bonnie Colley, 31 years old, of 20504 Pleasant Road, Abbeville, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine), Possession of C.D.S. I (marijuana), Possession of Diazepam, Resisting an Officer by Providing a False Name (2 counts), Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institution, and 2 outstanding warrants
