A lengthy narcotics investigation by the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a Pineville man and a Pollock woman. Derrick Strain, 43 years old, of 147 Hagan Drive, Pineville, and Brandy Nowlin, 35 years old, of 163 Lena Drive, Pollock were arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crystal methamphetamine) with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of C.D.S. I (marijuana) with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm with C.D.S., Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
