Grant Parish Sheriff’s Corporal Jimmi McCully and his K-9 partner, Buffy, assisted the Colfax Police Department on a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a Colfax man for crack cocaine. The driver of the vehicle told the officers that, “there is nothing in there because I threw it outside the window”. Deputies found crack cocaine on the floorboard of the vehicle.
E.L. Salone, Jr., 69 years old, of 6979 Hwy. 71, Colfax, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (crack cocaine), Obstruction of Justice, and Littering.
