Patrol Encounter Leads to Drug Arrest of Alexandria Man and Woman


Grant Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Kerri Null was at a gas station when she noticed a man that she knew was wanted on outstanding warrants. The person gave Deputy Null a fake birthday in an attempt to disguise his identity. Inside of the car that he was in was a female that laid down in the back seat when she saw the deputy.

Both were arrested for drug charges as well as the outstanding warrants. Once at the jail, deputies discovered syringes and more methamphetamine that he was trying to hide.

Amy Hansen, 34 years old, of 3111 Dawkins Street, Alexandria, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jerry Brown, Jr. 33 years old, of 1804 Ulster Street, Alexandria, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (methamphetamine) with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Taking Contraband into a Penal Institution, Possession of C.D.S. I (marijuana), Illegal Carrying of a Weapon, and 4 outstanding warrants.
