Report of Suspicious Person Leads to Drug Arrest of Ball Man


Grant Parish Sheriff’s Corporal T.C. Vice responded to a suspicious person in the Pollock community. When he arrived, he found a man that said that he had run out of fuel and was going door to door asking for fuel. He told Cpl. Vice that he had been selling methamphetamine “to make ends meet.” Inside of the vehicle was methamphetamine and digital scales as well as three young children.

Robert Quarles, Jr., 22 years old, of 6685 Birch Trace, Ball, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (methamphetamine), Illegal Use of C.D.S. in the Presence of Minors, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
