On March 7, 2019, the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office held their annual spring lunch for the Council on Aging.
During the meal, Sheriff McCain gave a presentation to those in attendance discussing the population growth in Grant Parish since 2010 and the increase in demands on law enforcement that this growth has caused. The Sheriff informed the crowd of the Sheriff’s Office website which allows people to share concerns about crime in their area.
The Director of the Council on Aging, Mrs. Scroggs, called it an “absolute delight” to have the annual cooking.
“The presence of the Sheriff and his deputies was absolutely exciting,” said Scroggs. “The Sheriff’s Office has met with the Council on Aging and worked hand-in-hand with us, and I appreciate that so much.”
