Grant Parish Sheriff’s Corporal Jimmi McCully and Deputy Jared Clark located a wanted person on 4 outstanding warrants. The deputies also noticed that he threw a a black case into a ditch. Inside of the case, they found a smoking pipe and methamphetamine. When asked what was in the case that he threw, the person replied, “meth”.
Curtis Havis, 28 years old, of 304 Nelm’s Loop, Colfax, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II (methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and 4 Fugitive warrants.
