The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man sitting in the passenger’s seat of a vehicle in a parking lot that appeared to be using drugs. When Corporal Gil James arrived, he located the man in the vehicle drinking a beer. During the investigation, Cpl. James went on to discover methamphetamine and that the man had an outstanding warrant from LaSalle Parish.
Joel Hodges, 36 years old, of 142 Tobacco Road, Trout, was arrested for: Possession of C.D.S. II (methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and the outstanding warrant.
