The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man walking along Hwy. 165 south of Pollock opening mailboxes that were along the road. When Deputy Robert Jordan arrived, he discovered much more. The man was from Texas and was carrying a sawed-off shotgun and a large knife in a backpack along with a syringe, a metal spoon used for melting narcotics and other items.
Leonardo Rincones, 47 years old, of 7042 Clubgate Road, Corpus Christi, Texas, was arrested for Illegal Carrying of a Weapon, Possession of an Illegal Weapon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
