The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man standing in someone’s yard staring at the homeowner. When Deputy Justin Rachel and Sgt. James Wooten arrived, they found the man standing in the middle of the road, blocking traffic and talking to himself. The man was arrested and, while be transported to the jail, he spit on the two deputies and began kicking the window of the patrol vehicle.
Jacob Hicks, 31 years old, of 3973 Walker Ferry Road, Pollock, was arrested for: Simple Criminal Damage to Property, Battery on a Police Officer, Simple Obstruction of a Roadway, Disturbing the Peace by Intoxication, and Felony Probation Violation.
