The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance and the theft of a pick-up truck. When Sgt. Dale Whitstine and Deputy Kayla Little arrived, they noticed a woman crawling under a trailer in an effort to hide from the deputies. The deputies discovered that the woman had four plastic baggies with methamphetamine in them.
Jessica Johnson, 42 years old, of 470 Hog Island Road, Dry Prong, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Aggravated Assault, and Unauthorized Use of a Moveable.
