The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office was asked to be on the lookout for a vehicle coming from Winnfield that had a suspect who had stolen a variety of items from a Winnfield store.
The vehicle was located along with the woman that had stolen the items along with the stolen items. When she was transported to the jail, methamphetamine was also discovered.
Ashley Evans, 27 years old, of 500 Cleco Street, Pineville, was arrested for Possession of Stolen Things and Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility.
