Grant Parish Sheriff Steven McCain warns people of another scam that has found its way into Grant Parish. The letter claims that you are the winner of a drawing or lottery. The letters have official U.S. Government stamps on the letters to try to convince people that they are authentic.
“The old saying, if it sounds too be good to be true, it probably is; certainly applies to these letters. Do not contact them, simply throw the scam letter away”, stated Sheriff McCain.
