An initial report of a disturbance led to the arrest of a Dry Prong woman for False Imprisonment and Extortion.
Grant Parish Sheriff’s Corporal Zac Daenen and Deputy Brennan Flory discovered that Ina DeSoto held a juvenile against her will and refused to allow her to leave, unless the juvenile would sign over the rights to her 3 month old child.
Ina DeSoto, 35 years old, of 128 Doyle Lane, Dry Prong, was arrested for False Imprisonment and Extortion.
