Investigation Leads to Arrest of Dry Prong Man

An investigation by the Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Louisiana Probation and Parole led to the arrest of a Dry Prong man for a number of charges after a sawed-off shotgun was discovered.

Jerry Nugent, 57 years old, of 388 Douglas Road, Dry Prong, was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Illegal Carrying of Weapons, and Possession of Illegally Transferred Weapons.
