Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest of Bentley Man

A traffic stop in the Prospect community by Grant Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Ethan Hemphill led to the arrest of a Bentley man after he told the deputy that he had “the south killer” in a bag, referring to a bag in his vehicle that contained methamphetamine.

Nathaniel Distefano, 21 years old, of 190 Walters Road, Bentley, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
